Tow Bar with light bar

Almost all GM all-wheel-drive vehicles manufactured after 1999 can be towed wheels down behind your motorhome without hurting the vehicle’s transmission.

I had this towbar custom-made to tow my 1999 Silverado Z 71 pickup.

Since I launch my boat and rather crowded boat ramps. I had a hitch receiver installed on the front of my truck, which as it turned out, makes a perfect place to attach the towbar.

Simply drop the hitch over your 2 inch ball and slide the other end into your 2 inch receiver, lock it in, attach the safety cables, and you’re done. Check your owner’s manual to determine how to unlock your steering without turning the ignition on, slide the lightbar into your 2 inch receiver on the back of your vehicle being towed hook up the wires and away you go.

Of course if you don’t have receivers on the front or back of your vehicle being towed you can simply unbolt the adapters and attach the towbar and the lightbar as you normally would. If you have any questions call me, Bart at 843-323-9050.
